Job Description

Manage and co-ordinate a team that includes Design Engineers, Field Engineers, Installation teams, Other Project Managers and Management Officials. • Develop project timelines and associated schedules to support the overall program level goals of a Aerial Fiber deployment Project. • Manage and progress track against those schedules • Develop and manage project budgets that meet program guidelines. • Coordinate with the field and network teams for timing, execution and closeout of individual projects • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of completion, lead weekly meetings with the client and project team. • Monitoring project risks and scope to identify potential problems and proactively identifying solutions to address them in advance. • Escalating promptly any issues that may impact operations. • Producing stage plans, highlight reports, risk logs, requests for change etc • Providing strategic direction during the implementation stages. • Managing customer expectations by ensuring the delivery of the highest quality service Acting on client feedback Monitoring staff & team performance. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: • Aerial OFC Route Survey methods, Tools, Process documentation for Site Survey reports • Interfacing to Municipality Officials for ROW for OFC OSP Aerial Construction • Procedures of Applications & Obtain ROW from Municipalities • Knowledge of all local and Outside Fiber Contractors in Tier -1 /Tier -2 /Tier -3 levels with their ownership of Machines , Crews etc • Process knowledge on Aerial fiber Construction and Survey. • Rating of Fiber Contractors based on their efficiency, Quality, reputation, cost and reliability • Documented tracking process knowledge on tasks delivery for OSP construction/OFC City Survey • Monitoring of Quality of Workmanship of OSP Construction/OFC Survey Tasks • Assessment of partners for asset handing over, utilisation and tracking material deployment. • Knowledge on OSP delivery efficiency in time. COMMERCIAL AWARENESS & BUSINESS ACUMEN. • Experience of working in a multivendor environments. • Good conflict management and prioritisation skills. • Manage technical process and resolve technical issues. • Can understand and document project requirements and dependencies. • Excellent documentation & report writing skills. • Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure. • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion. • Internal and External Stakeholder Management. • Identification of FSP and Field Engineer training. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 2. Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Engineering, Telecom Operations, or field project management. 3. Experience managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams. Experience working in the field of Telecom / Fiber Construction. Especially aerial fiber deployment is required. 4. Project management experience with budgeting, project cost estimating, scheduling and planning 5. Ability to co-ordinate and integrate work across multiple disciplines, complete scheduling and resource planning activities to drive efficient work processes, identify and manage all project risks and enhance customer communication and satisfaction. 6. Demonstrated experience with strong communications with internal and external stakeholders, specifically consulting with clients, identifying client needs, developing action plans, providing deliverables, and presenting results. 7. Ability to communicate progress, highlight issues and provide recommendations to senior leadership 8. Experience using Microsoft word, excel and power point LANGUAGES KNOWN Preference to candidates with good Knowledge of English, Telugu to Co-ordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
